INTERIOR OF THE EARTH
The Earth is gradually divided into three layers from the Surface to the depth of the Earth.
The three layers are as follows:
1) Crust
2) Mantle
3) And the Core
1) CRUST
This is the uppermost layer of the earth and its contain various type of organic and inorganic things. The Continental depth of this layer is around 35 km and the Oceanic depth is 5km.It is also called as Sial (Si=Silica and Al=Alumina)
2) MANTLE
Below the Crust comes the Mantle its depth is around 2900km and all the crustal movement like earthquake and volcanic activity is caused due to this region. This layer contain lava which causes volcanic eruption.
3) CORE
The innermost layer of the earth is also called as the core of the earth. The depthness of this layer is around 3900km . The core is divided into outer and inner core .The temperature and pressure is very high. The inner core is composed of iron and nickel. It is more hotter than the Sun surface.
